Background
The relocation of Hull's historic Wholesale Fruit Market is pivotal to the success of the regeneration of the City's Marina area. ispace have worked with the Fruit Traders, many of whom are operating businesses that have been in their families for generations, to secure them a new home for their trade. It is important to find a single site for the traders to ensure they can operate together thus retaining one of the UK's oldest markets, retain around 200 jobs and continue the well known and well loved trade in the City of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers that many people have come to rely upon.
