Working with Hull City Council, Hull Citybuild and the traders a number of sites were considered but the only site available in the City to meet all criteria was on Priory Park East, on land already allocated with outline planning permission for employment use.

A planning application was approved in November 2007, start on site is expected in March 2008 with the eventual relocation of 12 wholesale businesses from Humber Street is anticipated in Autumn 2008.

This scheme is just 70,000sq ft on a 4 acre site, adjacent to the A63 further along Priory Park from Arco and the Village Hotel. A management strategy, already in place at Humber Street, has been updated and redrafted specifically to accommodate the new premises controlling matters such as deliveries, distribution, access, noise, cleanliness as well as other general housekeeping issues.
