Nestled into the rural landscape on the west side of Flamborough village, Dunnscroft reflects the farmstead heritage of the location with its enclosed courtyard layout in a design typical of the area.
Planned to conjure images of blowy cliff top walks and salty sea air, the traditional local materials chosen for these new homes preserve and reinforce the character of the village and are a welcome addition to the traditional coastal street scene on the main approach to the village.
All 7 cottages are constructed from a variety of materials chosen especially to blend with the local landscape, complement other existing homes in this coastal village and reflect the history of this former farming site. Natural stone, Crest Old Hambleton brick and a combination of Blythe handmade clay pantiles and natural slate roofs all feature in the design.
Dunnscroft is a five minutes drive from Flamborough Head, one of the most impressive coastal headlands in the region, fascinating, rich in interest and a highly sought after location.
