Tesco Express now open!
The ispace team is celebrating following the opening of its first ever Tesco Express store. The 4,000 sq ft store on Huddersfield Road, Bradford has opened for business just over a year after planning was granted.
Simon Dixon, Director, ispace said: “This development on the former site of the Fanny Haddocks fish and chip shop is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved. The store has opened in record time and we are proud to have regenerated this site, bringing it back to its former glory with a brand new Tesco Express store that will offer convenience and choice for local residents.
“The success of the development is testament to the hard work of the team and demonstrates ispace at its best. We took what was a run down and derelict site which had become an eyesore for neighbours, and by working with local residents, councillors and planners were able to transform it into a useful and attractive local convenience store that can once again stand proud at the heart of the community.”
